Where is the serial number on a catalytic converter?
It is most often stamped or engraved on the metal housing or heat shield of the catalytic converter. If it is covered in dirt, see our guide to finding the code.
Can I send just a photo?
Yes. In the form it is enough to enter a serial number or add a photo — you do not need both. The most useful are a clear photo of the engraved code and one photo of the whole part.
