How to find the catalytic converter number
The serial number is most often stamped or engraved on the metal housing or the heat shield. Clean the surface with a soft brush and photograph the marking up close, in bright light.
For a valuation by photo, send:
- a close-up photo of the code,
- a photo of the whole catalytic converter,
- the make and model of the vehicle, if you know them.

Can I send just a photo?
Yes. In the form it is enough to enter the serial number or add a photo — you do not need both. The most useful are a clear photo of the engraved code and one photo of the whole part.
